capacity Building committee

The Capacity Building Committee is dedicated to empowering businesses, particularly those owned by members of the Hispanic community, to achieve lasting success and resilience. By addressing critical challenges and fostering strategic opportunities, the committee serves as a powerful resource for business growth and sustainability.

our goals

To help businesses connect with financial institutions and alternative funding sources, enabling them to secure the capital they need to grow, innovate, and thrive.

Building partnerships with grassroots organizations to enhance access to funding opportunities, to teach a variety of technical assistance and workforce development programs.

With a forward-thinking approach, we focus on creating strategies that not only drive immediate success but also ensure long-term viability and stability for businesses.

our priorities

Our team partners with entities across sectors, including financial institutions, government agencies, and community organizations, to deliver programming, share best practices, and collectively tackle systemic challenges in business environments.

To minimize skill gaps and prepare workers for the evolving demands of the industry, we offer evidence-based training programs specifically tailored to the construction sector. These programs include technical skills development, leadership training, and collective bargaining education, ensuring that both new and seasoned professionals are equipped to excel in their roles.

Strong advocacy is key to supporting a sustainable and equitable construction industry. We empower unions and trade organizations to influence labor policies and advocate for fair practices. By bolstering their ability to engage in negotiations and shape industry standards, we aim to create lasting, positive change.
